I took this photo last weekend while visiting our summer cabin. As the air temperature drops faster than the temperature of the lake, it creates a mist that beautifully wraps the entire scenery.
If you look at closely, you can see the wood used to build the Midsummer bonfire on the small island. In two weeks time it will be as high as the trees and burn throughout the night.
We got lucky this year as we got to spend the May Day with clear skies and sunshine. Even though the air–and especially the wind–was still cold, it was way better that the predicted rain.
I took my new Zuiko 75mm/f1.8 lens out for a test and these are few of the photos I took at Havis Amanda.
